We’re a small metalworking outfit in Leyton, East London. We design and build log stores and garden planters from heavy-gauge steel, and we make every single one to order, in whatever size you need.

Most of what leaves the workshop goes out to gardens across Essex, Kent, Surrey and the rest of the South East, though we’ll deliver anywhere on the mainland.

What we make

Log stores, built from 3mm steel with an open back so air moves through the wood and it seasons properly rather than sitting damp. Five sections inside for logs of different sizes, plus a smaller one for kindling. There are fixing holes on the rear so it can be secured to a wall or fence. Worth doing, given the weight.

Two finishes, and the difference matters

Corten is weathering steel. It arrives raw and un-rusted, then grows its own deep orange coat over about four months outdoors. That rust isn’t damage. It’s a protective layer that forms and then stops, sealing the steel underneath. There’s more on how that works here.

Painted pieces are galvanised underneath, so they can’t rust through from beneath, then etch primed before the finish coat goes on. Three standard colours: anthracite grey, black or white. Any other RAL shade if you ask, at no extra cost.

Any size you like

Because we build everything ourselves, we aren’t stuck with the sizes listed on the site. Send us your measurements and we’ll make it. If you need several, say a matching run down a terrace, give us a call and we’ll talk about the price.

Everything carries a three year guarantee. Paint finishes are excluded from that; everything structural isn’t.
